MENDOTA — The Northmen Gospel Singers will perform at 7 p.m. Friday at the Mendota Church of the Nazarene. The public is invited to attend this uplifting and spirit-filled evening of music and testimony. A free-will offering will be taken.

PRINCETON — Phillip Kaufmann will perform The Cotton Patch Gospel in a unique one-man musical at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Backbone Theater, 230 Backbone Road East. The Coffee House doors open at 6:30 p.m. Admission is food or a cash donation for the pantry. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go toward fighting hunger. PRINCETON — Registrations are being accepted for the SonRise vacation Bible school at the Evangelical Covenant Church at 24 N. Main St. in Princeton. The school will be from 9 a.m. to noon June 18-24. All children entering kindergarten through fifth grade are invited to participate in the fun crafts, music, Bible stories and more.
