Ganiere to hold town hall meeting

HENNEPIN — Tom Ganiere, Democratic candidate for the 38th Senate District, will hold the first of a series of town hall meetings in Hennepin at the Steelworkers Hall, 1120 Old Highway 26, at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

In announcing the meetings, Ganiere said he believes the best way to learn about the issues affecting the citizens of the 38th District is to listen to their ideas and concerns. In addition to listening, Ganiere will give a brief introduction of his qualifications to be the next senator from the 38th District and provide plenty of time to answer questions.

“The times are tough in Illinois right now, and it is going to take everyone working together to put us on the right track. And I want to hear personally from the citizens what their thoughts are and of what direction the state should be taking to get on the right track,” Ganiere said.
