James Price

HENNEPIN — James Edward "Jim" Price, 73, of Hennepin passed away Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, at his home.

Born Sept. 17, 1938, in Mendota to Milo and Margaret (Rodda) Price, he married Darlene Hult on March 29, 1973, in Las Vegas, Nev.

He graduated from Hall High School. He was in Ironworkers Local Union for over 40 years. He was an active member of AMVETS and was also named the 2008 Citizen of the Year in Hennepin.

Surviving are two children, Perry (Cristy) Price of Montana and Phillip (Stephanie) Price of Connecticut; three stepchildren, Bill (the late Vickie) Hult and Donna Hult, both of Florida, and Randy (Patricia) Hult of Princeton; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one brother, Ron Price; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Lynette Kent.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Norberg Memorial Home, Princeton, with Pastor Charles Yeakel officiating. Burial will be in Elm Lawn Memorial Park, Princeton.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
