Clara Hunt

STERLING — Clara J. Hunt, 87 of Sterling passed away Wednesday, Feb. 15 2012, at Coventry Living Center in Sterling.

Born Dec. 31, 1924, in Ohio, Ill. to Clair and Pearl (Albrecht) Parson, she married Marvin Hunt Sept. 28,1957, in Chicago. He died in 2008.

She graduated from Ohio High School in 1942. She was a homemaker, a member of the Illinois Holstein Association and was a Cub Scout Den Mother.

Surviving are four children, Jerry (Vickie) Hunt of Henry, Jim (Kathy) Hunt of Batavia, Janet (Loren) Niemeyer of LaSalle and Joanne (Vernon) Bejster of Malden; and three grandchildren, Matthew Hunt of Holland, Ohio, Zacharius Anderson of LaSalle and Brittany Bejster of Malden.

She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Norberg Memorial Home, Princeton, with Pastor Frank Brozenec officiating. Burial will be in the Red Oak Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
