Tuesday night sports update

The St. Bede Bruins held on for a 60-58 at Red Devil Gymnasium over the host Hall Red Devils Tuesday. Hall rallied from a 13-point fourth quarter deficit.

Girls sectionals: Stillman Valley proved too powerful for the Hall Lady Red Devils, taking Tuesday's Rock Falls 1A sectional semifinal 63-30. Hall's Beka Dagraedt advanced to the sectional finals in the 3-Point Showdown.

In 1A, Annawan rolled over Hinckley-Big Rock 53-32 at Midland. The Bravettes will face Kewanee Wethersfield at 7:30 Thursday for the sectional crown.
