SPRING VALLEY — Hall High School’s Foreign Language Fair will be from 6 to 8 p.m. March 1 in the school’s gym and gym lobby.
For the French students, this year’s theme is Paris. Famous tourist sites will be highlighted the night of the fair.
There will be a cafe with free French food and a kiosk with French souvenirs. Students will dress up as famous Parisian citizens, and there will be some street entertainers, jesters, ballet dancers and mimes. Especially for the young students, there will be exhibits that will highlight French birthdays, French names and French tattoos. There will be free entertainment provided by the French and Spanish students in the auditorium at 7:15 p.m.
The Spanish Department will present the Spanish-speaking countries of Central America and the Caribbean. They will have volcanoes, famous landmarks, fishing and bean bag games, a fortress, salsa dance lessons, and a stage show with songs from some of the countries and the seniors will perform the salsa.
